12 years DeviantArt. I've been gone for twelve years. No, I didn't go to jail or anything like that. Well, maybe a jail of self made misery. A lot, and I mean A LOT has happened in these years. Last time I wrote a journal, I was 28 days away from delivering my son. Tiernan, tragically passed away at birth, so that took me a really long time to work through my grief and guilt. I'm not 100% over it, simply because I will probably never be. I've also been divorced, married-divorced and married again. For those of you keeping score at home, that makes me on my 5th marriage. Between the 4th and 5th, I took some time. I decided against dating/sex and I stuck with it for over 2 years. I stopped dating, drinking, and even quit smoking. I started working on myself and trying to do something that would make me happy, so I went back to school. This happens a lot lately, I wake up at random times, probably because my son is laying on my spine and my legs have fallen asleep. So, I'm up, listening to the dogs snore and being jealous that they can sleep so soundly. Damn dogs. So I'm browsing DA, found lots of new favorites, which I'll share on here.
