Well, it's been a good/bad week. Things have been kicking me in the ass non-stop. I was having some health issues right before I was scheduled to go in to the Dr's for my "cancer free" check up, right. I told him what was going on and he immediately tells me that we need to do a scan, and go from there. Turns out, the news isn't so good, I went in for a biopsy last tuesday, and I have colon cancer. Freakin' figures, right? I'm going in this week to schedule my surgery. The Dr said they're going to remove the four major tumors and then I get to go in for more chemo, and a big plus this time, radiation. Not great. Oh well. I've been getting some really lucky breaks in terms of other things though, I actually won tickets to the Dallas premiere of Boondock Saints 2, which was freaking awesome! I got to meet Troy Duffy, the writer/director, Norman Reedus and Sean Patrick Flanery. It was so fun! We got hooked up big time by one of the producers, her name was Vallery, she gave us staff event passes, we got to drink for free on their tab all night, and she hooked us up with major swag, plus we got to hang out with the guys from the movie for a really long time! It was great! I can't post the pictures on DA, but I will post up a link to my facebook journal so you can look if you want to. So, like I said, good news/bad news.
